Common questions
What does “kharcha” mean?
Kharcha is Hindi for expense or spending. “Mera Kharcha” means “my expenses”. Daily kharcha is what you spend in a day, and ghar kharcha is the household spending: rent, groceries, bills and the rest.
Can I keep a jama kharch (income and expense) record?
Yes. Add income as well as expenses, each with a date and category. The charts show what came in and what went out for the week, month or year.
Is the daily kharcha app free?
Yes. Adding expenses and income, charts and search are free with ads. Every new account gets one 7-day Premium trial. Voice entry, bill reminders and some sharing features need Premium.
Can I use it in Hindi?
Yes. Mera Kharcha is available in 29 languages, including Hindi, Bengali, Tamil and Urdu. Choose one in Profile or let the app follow your phone.
Can my family add to the same ghar kharcha?
Yes, with Family mode. Members join with an invite code and add their own expenses. Joining is free. Creating a family and viewing other members’ expenses need Premium.
